PhD Students

  • Loic Joly mod Loïc Joly acquired his "diplôme d'ingénieur" in organic chemistry from the ENSCCF in France and his MSc. in general chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. Since 2015 he is a PhD student at Polimi under the supervision of Prof. Francesca Baldelli Bombelli. His project is carried on in collaboration with the institut Laue-Langevin located in Grenoble, France. His current research focuses on the elucidation of the mechanisms taking place during the interaction between engineered nanoparticles and biomembranes.
  • Marta Rosati
    Marta Rosati was born in Vercelli in 1991. She graduated in Chemistry in Turin and she obtained the Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan Bicocca. In the period between the BS and MS degree she had a work experience in the Piedmont Agency for the Environment (ARPA), in Vercelli. From November 2017, she has joined SBNLab as PhD student in Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
  • Nazheena
    Nazeeha Ayaz was born and brought up in Chennai, India. She completed her Bachelors in Biotechnology and Masters in Nanoscience and technology from Anna University. Later, she worked as a guest lecturer at Madras University in the department of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. She has been a research fellow under Dr. Chandan Srivastava at Department of Materials Engineering and also under Dr. Ravi Sundaresan at Department of Microbiology and Cell biology, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
    In 2017, Nazeeha joined SBNLab at Polimi as a PhD student. Her current research focuses on encapsulation of fluorinated compounds for imaging and drug delivery.
